Biography

I actually have a pretty good life by most standards. I live in Australia in a beautiful and diverse coastal city. I am fortuntate enough to have a wonderful wife and two amazing and healthy sons. I own and operate a successful advertising agency and have recently launched a web-based start-up that is steadily gaining momentum.

I enjoy fairly good physical health too. At 38 years old I am fit and strong. I am a competitive cyclist, occasional surfer and snow skier and sometime golfer.

My parents and sister are all alive and very well and I see them regularly. No divorces in the family, very few problems to speak of.

So yes, all in all I am a very fortunate person. Many friends and collegues comment on how lucky I am, although I tend to believe you make most of your own luck.

So why do I feel that I haven't got it all quite right?

This blog serves to describe my journey to create "The Perfect Life". I am not sure that perfection is achievable but I do believe that by laying out a path, nominating what I would consider to be a Perfect Life, and commiting myself to achieving it that I can design a lifestyle that most would be extremely grateful to enjoy.

I will be making some significant changes to my life, both at work and pesonally. Everything will be done with the best intentions and with no desire to insult or hurt others. However at first some of those around me may not fully appreciate my intentions, or may feel like pawns in my "Project".

It would probably be considered arrogant to declare some of my plans to many who may be affected by them. For this reason I choose to remain anonymous for now.

As this is a project and I am the guinea pig (so to speak) you can call me GP.

Hi, nice to meet you.
